CA Plant Co., Ltd. exhibited at the 14th International Biomass Expo 2026 (held as part of Smart Energy Week) at Tokyo Big Sight.

The highlight of this year's exhibit was the first appearance of a live 200kW unit from Czech CHP manufacturer GENTEC at a Japanese trade show. Driven by our belief that "spec sheets alone have their limits," we were committed to showcasing an actual working unit — and its presence on the show floor was nothing short of commanding. The exhibit drew tremendous interest from visitors and saw packed attendance across all three days.

Against a backdrop of growing awareness around GX promotion and decarbonization management, we had numerous conversations with customers actively exploring CHP adoption across a variety of fuel sources — including livestock and agricultural biogas, food waste, and municipal solid waste methane fermentation — and received a number of concrete inquiries. CA Plant handles multiple European brands — GENTEC, TEDOM, and EC POWER — enabling us to propose the optimal CHP solution tailored to each customer's scale, fuel type, and application. This breadth of options to meet diverse customer needs is one of our core strengths.

The concurrent hosting of multiple trade shows also made this an excellent opportunity to connect with a wide range of industry players. We were able to engage with companies spanning the entire value chain — from upstream areas such as biogas production to downstream sectors including CO₂ capture technology and energy storage systems — and we began to see the potential for new business partnerships centered around CHP.

As GX policies accelerate toward carbon neutrality, demand for distributed, locally-sourced biogas CHP solutions is steadily growing. CA Plant remains fully committed to establishing high-durability, high-reliability European CHP systems as a mainstay in Japan.
