CaPLANT Co.,Ltd. Makes Paid Leave Available After Three Months of Employment, Promoting Employee Retention and a More Supportive Work Environment.
CaPLANT Co.,Ltd. has moved up the point at which employees become eligible to take paid leave from six months after joining the company to three months, effective September 2026. The change is part of the company's efforts to create an environment in which employees can work with peace of mind over the long term.
Under the revised system, employees are able to take paid leave at an early stage — just three months after joining. This allows each employee to make use of their leave in a way that suits their own lifestyle, such as combining it with the Obon holidays or other consecutive holidays to take an extended break.
Around three months after joining is also a natural milestone, when employees can look back on how well they have adapted to their new role and workplace and consider how they want to work going forward.
By making paid leave available from an early stage after joining, the company hopes to give employees time away from work to refresh themselves, and to help build an environment in which they can return with a renewed sense of motivation and continue to grow with the company.
One of Ca PLANT's corporate principles is "to pursue the happiness of our employees in both material and emotional terms." The company believes that being able to work with peace of mind over the long term — while valuing not only work but also time for oneself and one's family — is an essential element of employee happiness.
Beginning with this revision to the paid leave system, CaPLANT Co.,Ltd. will continue to enhance its employee benefits and workstyle-related programs, taking into account feedback from employees and changes in the working environment.
